Billing questions
Monthly or lifetime: which should I pick?
Monthly gets every new version as it comes out, and later the web editor, for $10 a month. The lifetime pass is $120 once and keeps PubStudio 0.x working for good, with no subscription. New major versions aren't included in the lifetime pass.
What happens if I cancel?
PubStudio goes back to Free at the end of the month you've paid for. Nothing is deleted, and every publication you made still opens, edits and prints. Only the Pro features lock again.
How many PCs can I use?
Each licence key works on 2 PCs at once. To move it to a new PC, open File > Account on the old one and choose Deactivate on this PC. Free has no limit.
Do I need to be online?
Only now and then. PubStudio checks the key once a day when it can. It stays Pro without the internet for 14 days on monthly and 90 days on the lifetime pass.
Who handles the payment?
Payments go through Dodo Payments, which is the merchant of record and works out sales tax and VAT for your country. Your receipt and licence key come from them by email. Manage or cancel a subscription from Account.
