This is a draft and hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet. It is not in force.
The short version
Your publications stay on your computer. PubStudio has no account and no tracking, and it doesn't upload your files.
What the app sends
- Licence checks (Pro only). When you activate, and about once a day after, the app sends your licence key and your computer's name to Dodo Payments to check the key.
- Research. When you use Review > Research, the words you search for go to Wikipedia.
- Translate. When you use Review > Translate, the selected text goes to the MyMemory translation service.
Nothing else leaves your computer.
Buying Pro
Dodo Payments processes your payment as merchant of record and receives your name, email, billing address and card details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details so we can support you.
